Cooking and making coffee on campsite electricity
Most campsites give you 6 amps, so a maximum of 1,380 watts. At Kampeerwinkel Roermond you'll find electrical appliances that run on that, from Tristar, Mestic, Røquet, Haba and Eurotrail: kettles and coffee makers from 600 to 1,000 watts, electric hobs, toasters, small microwaves, fans and 12 volt appliances for on the road.
What to look out for
- Power: under 1,000 watts so you don't trip the campsite fuse.
- One appliance at a time: don't switch on the kettle and the hob together.
- Compact: collapsible kettles and flat hobs for the caravan cupboard.
- 12 volt: coffee makers and kettles that run off the cigarette lighter socket in the campervan.
