Fan, air cooler or air conditioner?

A fan moves air and runs on 12 V or battery. An air cooler cools a few degrees in dry air. A camping air conditioner really cools, up to 10 degrees below outside temperature, but needs 230 V at 6 amps. Which suits your pitch is explained at camping fan or air conditioner.

The Mestic SPA series

The SPA-5100 is a split unit for caravans up to 6 metres (1,500 watts cooling, 550 to 650 watts consumption), the SPA-3100 the compact version. Both quiet, with remote control and timer.

Heating for cold nights

Electric heaters of 500 to 1,000 watts for awning and caravan with hook-up; gas heaters only with ventilation.

Frequently asked questions

Is 6 amps enough for the SPA-5100?

Yes, as long as a kettle is not running at the same time.
