Which snowboard suits you?

  • All-mountain: camber-rocker profile, medium flex; for piste, park and the occasional powder day. The all-rounder.
  • Freestyle: twin tip, softer flex, for park and pipe.
  • Freeride: directional, stiffer, wider nose; for powder and off-piste.
  • Beginner board: soft flex and rocker, forgives mistakes.

Which length and width?

Beginners choose a board up to the chin, advanced riders up to the nose; heavier riders go longer. From shoe size 44 and up choose a wide model, so your toes do not hang over the edge. We work it out based on height, weight and shoe size.

Bindings and boots

Bindings and boards must match (2x4, 4x4 or channel); we mount and set them in store. Snowboard boots are bought to measure, with half an hour of standing in them; see ski and snowboard boots.

Frequently asked questions

Camber or rocker?

Camber gives grip and pop, rocker is playful and forgiving; a hybrid profile combines both and is the best choice for most riders.

Which stance do I need?

Regular (left foot forward) or goofy (right foot forward); we set the angles.
